Hello.
When my two wonderful children were born, I took a step back from my career as an experiential events producer, a job that allowed me to tap into my passion for interior design building some incredible spaces. The work was exhilarating. From designing fashion houses in New York City to designing pop-up shops in L.A. for international clients.
Time away gives you time to reflect, and I decided to turn my passion for interior design into the writings of my next act.
As the daughter and granddaughter of nationally recognized oil painters, I did not get the same talents as them with a paintbrush. However, I inherited their eye for composition, color, perspective and an appreciation for art in all forms. I have always been drawn to home design. In college, I spent many Saturdays at garage sales and antique shops - literally designing on a dime.
Fast forward to today, several apartments and homes later, I still love the process of turning a blank canvas into an inviting space, touring home stores with two toddlers, ‘shopping my house’ on the weekend, or bringing together an eclectic mix of items to bring fresh life into a home.
When I work with clients, I bring the same level of passion to their project regardless of size and scope. The smallest of changes can make a big difference.
My philosophy is simple, you may only be a throw pillow away from having a home you love.
